Check your sustained Internet speed here!

The test measures your sustained Internet download speed & computer’s performance in running LIVE video streams. You open as many LIVE streams as your computer can handle, then check the bandwidth-meter tool to see your download speed.

Some ISP’s provide a peak bandwidth that is different than the sustained bandwidth. Run the test for 2 minutes or more to see your sustained performance.

What is needed? -
1. Quicktime to view.
2. A bandwidth meter tool - e.g. Netmeter , DUMeter - which reports the bandwidth
    * Windows Users can also open the ‘Networking tab’ in the Windows Task Manager
(press ctrl-alt-del, then click on ‘Networking’).
    * Mac users - try iStatnano, Menumeter
    * Linux Users can use an equivalent tool

To test
1. Open the bandwidth meter tool
2. Click on the photo above to open a LIVE stream
3. After the LIVE stream appears, click on the photo again to open one more stream
4. Repeat step 3 - Open as many streams as your computer can handle.
5. Leave the streams running for about 2 minutes.
6. Check the bandwidth meter tool to see the sustained download speeds

You can setup your own LIVE feeds with the TenM3 service. Signup here
