Turn ON Audio

To hear sound from the camera, first make sure you are using a camera that supports audio e.g. BL-C101, BL-C131, BB-HCM581 etc

Before changing the Audio setting, make the corresponding TenM3 feed private and stop all ongoing operations (e.g. Viewing, Storing)

After changing the Audio setting, wait for about 2 min before performing any View, Store operations


For the Panasonic cameras,
1) login to the camera, under Setup > Audio,
make sure ‘Input’ is enabled

2) If your feed is setup with a ‘General User’ account, under
Setup > General User > yourAccount
make sure ‘Listen’ is checked.

3) Set the microphone sensitivity depending upon how far the camera is from the audio source.

For cameras supporting external microphones (e.g. Panasonic B-HCM581), make sure all the cables (Panasonic audio splitter cable to the camera, external microphone to splitter cable) are attached securely. The BB-HCM581 audio cable has input for a 3.5mm audio jack and also requires termination to eliminate line noise.

If the camera is far from the audio source, use a high-quality audio cable or a wireless microphone.
